The free public build is gallery- and scene-driven — not a full multi-route Undertale-style ending tree yet. Use the all scenes guide for what "all endings" means and how to unlock each type in v0.3.4_3.

No official cheats or codes. Replay unlocked scenes from Main Menu → Gallery, use cutscene skip (0.3.4+), and save slots for different routes. See the cheats section on the all scenes page for legitimate shortcuts. Edited save files are unsupported and can wipe progress.

Buy a Strange Pill from Nebby's shop (overworld — often on the right; use the down arrow in the shop UI to find the pill). Use it during the fight before you finish the sex phase, then complete the scene. For the cowgirl / ride (3× death) route, community tip: take the pill on the third death attempt — earlier uses may do nothing. See all scenes.

After finishing a main scene, enter the short overworld. The shop is commonly reported on the right side of the map. Buy skins, Strange Pill, and other items with gold from fights/scenes.

Gold comes from progressing fights and scenes — especially completing the first Chara battle and its routes. After unlocking the overworld, visit Nebby's shop. Use the latest 0.3.4_3 build from itch.io.

After buying a skin from Nebby's shop, start another fight with Chara. A skin selection screen should appear before combat — pick Butcher or Pale there (community reports for v0.3.4+).

Unlock scenes during a playthrough first, then open Gallery from the main menu. If the game freezes when entering Gallery (common on Android after certain unlocks), update to the latest 0.3.4_3 bugfix on itch.io — uninstall the old Android build before installing the new .apk. See Download.

Use the latest public itch build (currently LoveManiac 0.3.4_3 for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android) from itch.io. Try keyboard (arrow keys; Settings may offer keyboard vs mouse — WASD as movement is a frequent request and may not be available). Restarting after leaving a fight mid-battle has fixed stuck input for some players in earlier patches.

As of the latest info, the game often starts in fullscreen and many players couldn’t get windowed mode via command line or config. Team Nebula hasn’t confirmed windowed support yet. It may be added in a future update.

The game targets 64-bit Android; support is typically Android 12–16. The current itch download is a direct .apk (~104 MB for 0.3.4_3). Upgrading: uninstall the old app first, then install the new .apk. If you get a parse error or “not compatible,” your device may be 32-bit. Only download from the official itch.io page. (Older posts still mention .rar — trust the current Download filename.)

Team Nebula has said no—there are no plans for an official iOS release. The .apk on itch is for Android, not iPhone.

Team Nebula replied that male Frisk will be added in the next update as an option. So you’ll be able to play as male Frisk in a future release.

When downloaded from the official itch.io page, the game is safe. Team Nebula has stated it’s free of malware. Android may show a warning because the APK isn’t Play-signed—common for sideloading. Install only the official .apk (or older .rar → .apk flow if that file type returns). Only use team-nebula.itch.io/lovemaniac.

This site does not list a public Discord invite. Devlogs have occasionally mentioned Discord for bug reports; check Team Nebula's official itch.io page and socials for any current community channels. Prefer About for Patreon / X / TikTok / YouTube and the official Google Forms.

This has been asked on itch.io; the devs haven’t promised a censorship setting. Check the official devlog or comments for any future news.

In Undertale canon, Frisk and Chara have no specified gender. LoveManiac is a parody with its own take. For future content (e.g. Storyshift Chara), Team Nebula has said only Storyshift Chara is planned as a fundraising goal; other AUs aren’t expected soon.

Ensure you’re on the latest public itch.io build (see Download). Try keyboard for the soul instead of mouse (or vice versa). Settings may only offer keyboard (arrows) vs mouse — not a dedicated WASD bind yet. If problems persist, check the official itch.io page and Updates for patches.
